    Default A message to BTCL

you are the worst internet service provider in the world. You get that?! I have been suffering for 2 years. 2 years!!! You call that good! Well i'm suffering an snr of 1.5 all the time, getting 32 kbps all the time and it keeps cutting off and i can't do my work! All thanks to you! You do not deserve to be cisco certified. And no i am not using that sher e bangla exchange. No i am not. I expect 1 mbps from you btcl. Worst isp ever!

Always disconnecting, always slow, always unreliable and horrible customer support. (oh wait for the summer the signal will increase no it does not)

get out btcl. You do not belong here. Go read a dummy book. Get out. get out now nooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

i'm writing this while the adsl light is blinking you know!!!

Everyone. Is btcl reliable? Tell me now in the poll above!

Why did you just switch ISPs if they have been that crappy for 2 years :/ I'm sure even Qubee or other Wimax providers would be better if BTCL really is as bad as you say.

WiMAX doesn't work in my area. I have like 6 websites to work on and I can't with all this nonsense. I have a PS3 and I get disconnected thanks to that innocent green ADSL light.

I cannot do much sitting here behind my PC, what I recommend is you switch to a better ISP since BTCL is clearly not working for you. I'm sure you have some other ISP in your area? Some good ISPs would be Link3, Smile, BDCom, ISPros, DOT Internet, Qubee, BLion.

They are SO OUTDATED. They use a useless piece of black metal that breaks all the time.

I'm sure these guys are just sitting there playing with their little Nokias.

Link3 and DOT Internet are considered to be very good atleast for home users at an affordable rate. If you are disappointed with these, I'm not sure what will satisfy you.

All your problem boils down to poor phone cable or the switchbox near your house.

I have used BTCL for about 2 years. I have barely gotten disconnected. Maximum time I went without disconnect was ~10 days; even then the dc was due to electricity. I have never gotten slow speed except once during fiber cables under sea getting fixed. Their service was never down except 12 hours one day. All in that two years.
The abuse of greatness is when it disjoins remorse from power.

Sorry. I have moved from that place to another and have been using other ISPs for almost 1.5 years now.

My old place still has that btcl connection but I cant bother to go there and take stats. Search my old posts in btcl related threads. I have posted these before.

Also, stats mean nothing here considering the quality of phone cabling in Bangladesh. Your line might display best stats possible and suddenly wind can move the cable in such a way it gets disconnected for a split second and adsl gets reset.

the data rate shown here has no relation with isp data caps. It is because of adsl quality.

btcl adsl very rarely goes down. and i have not seen the speed fluctuating much. only if they stop dropping packets and fix the latency.

    I tried. FAIL.

If BTCL tries so hard to get me a perfect line, see what I get?

    1144 KBPS. 1.1 MBPS.

ONLY IF BTCL TRIES TO MAKE EFFORT TO FIX MY LINE. BUT NO. I MANAGED TO GET 1.1 MBPS ONCE YOU KNOW.

    SO TRY BTCL. PLEASE.

I'm a BTCL user. I've had a "bad" line for almost 10 years. Yes, that's right 10 YEARS! BTCL's backbone and internet tariffs are great. But when an individual user has a bad physical line (at the last mile) and isn't "smart" enough to bribe the lineman to come and fix it... then it just NEVER gets fixed.
    That's all.
rmahmud33 vai, either switch ISP, or tip one of your T&T lineman to keep him happy and he'll serve you in return.
