    Default Need suggestions for buying a good monitor

    I want to buy a monitor like this - http://www.ryanscomputers.com/Asus-VS228H-1461
    My budget is highest 17000. My requirement is what u saw in the link.
    Give ur opinion about this monitor or suggest me a better monitor within my budget

    Without response time is there any difference between Philips 227E3LHSU and Asus VS228H?

    I don't think there's much difference without it, But u may consider the response time as a good factor while buying a monitor..

    phillips one has 2ms response time, while the asus one has 5ms......
    the less response time the better gaming satisfaction

    human eyes as far i know cant detect the 2ms and 5ms response difference so either 2 or 5 both are same, in 17k http://www.ryanscomputers.com/Dell-E2313H-2741 this should be better than philips one

    The last I know, DVI's the better alt. HDMI's just for HTPCs and. . . . . . consoles.

    there is no big deal between dvi and hdmi , the dvi only carries video and hdmi carries video and audio at the same but i never seen any performance difference between dvi and hdmi in games or in movies
