Controversy arose when it was pointed out that an advertisement on Microsoft's Business Productivity website for IT tools had experienced a face-lift for its Polish appearance; quite literally.
Adverts for the Polish market saw a black man's face being replaced by a white man's in an obvious photoshop.
The advertisement originally showed a meeting between an Asian man, black man and white woman, but was so poorly edited for its Polish incarnation that the black man's hand was left unchanged.
The photograph has since been changed, with Microsoft now trying to track down who was responsible.
"We are looking into the details of this situation," said a Microsoft spokesman in a statement. "We apologise and are in the process of pulling down the image."
This story was just too odd not to post and it reminds us of the rumour that Project Natal struggles to see people with darker skin.
