    Lightbulb PC Power Supply Discussion

Don't keep beleive on these calculations.
they show minimum requirement of power that need to run your PC.
and there is main thing is a PSU output is based on +12V Rails.
if it is good like 30x12=360W that will be enough to run upto HD 4850.
remember many 400 and 450W PSU dont have sufficient power on +12V Rails.
    so don't rely on calculations.

I wish that looking up older posts was easier somehow, I explained PSU calculators, rails etc etc in detail a few months back :/

Btw, 4850 runs fine on Tt litepower 400W PSU's, so the 4770's will run it like it doesnt even need power

if its a Buzzing sound coming 4m PSU then it isnt good..... get a aftermarket PSu asap.

bad capacitor usually caz this kind of sound but there r other components as well which may be responsible.

for 8500GT 8600GT this psu will not do any problem
even it should handle a 4770 coz it has 16A in +12V where 4770 takes max 12A.

actually that PSU calculator should only be used to get the amount of power in watts that ur system is going to consume, in the end its upto u to buy a quality PSU with enough amps in the +12V rails

just cuz a PSU's outside shows that its a 500W doesnt really mean that it can deliver true 500W to ur system
