Hallo ppl, Do u know about the informatics olympiad? Its a programming competition for students in classes 9-12.

I came 1st in the Khulna-Barisal zonal contest & coming to attend the national olympiad to be held in NDC on 11th April.

Informatics Olympiad is the mixture of Math-Olympiad and Programming Contests... You have to solve certain mathematical problems using Programming languages / just a calculator and give the answers

i took part in the first ever Informatics Olympiad in BD that was organized by BASIS and BIOC (Bangladesh Informatics Olympiad Committee). It was held in EastWest university and i was 5th in it we were allowed to use both C++ and Basic. i dont know whats the rule now.

Thnx ppl, I really appreciate it. I am coming to Dhaka tomorrow.

The rools are simple. Program starts at 8 am in NDC, exam starts from 9 am for 4 hours, then lunch and then will be the prizegiving. There would be 6-8 problems to solve using pascal,c,c++,java.
