    Smile Monitor buying suggestion.

    Hello everyone.

I want to buy a monitor which will be used mainly for watching movies and occasional gaming. I prefer a high refresh rate and a curved feature. I have an Nvidia GPU now and the maximum I am willing to spend is 35k. Should I spend more for an IPS panel or a cheaper VA panel will be fine? The last time I had purchased a monitor was over 10 years ago, so please share some information as to what I should be aware of.

    Thanks.

    Default

Go for an IPS display, much better colors compared to TN or VA. Although recent TN/VA panels have improved a lot.

You can easily get a 1080p 144-170Hz IPS display with that budget. See if you can get an IPS 1440p 144Hz somehow, but those are mostly 27inch, so the price would go up quite a bit.

    Try to get a

    1. 1440p (2560x1440)

    2. 27inch

    3. IPS Panel

    4. 144-170Hz

    5. 1ms

It will increase ur budget a little bit. But it will be worth i guess.
