All online leagues use 61b and we have also shifted to it because we have to start getting used t the new DotA. You cannot take a 4 version switch step at any small point. We must start adapting. There aren't any known bugs, what makes you say it's not stable?

I'll have a talk with uD.

All the major tournaments and in-house leagues are using 6.61b, so we also should follow suite. And the changes are here to stay, the sooner we adapt the better. Just because the map is not stable yet doesn't meant that it is not playable.

The new map isnt stable yet,
and no known bugs yet but some heroes are imba
and in all maps there are some imba heroes thats why there is the 4 hero ban option.

But I dont mind with 59d since it is also the stable currently,
    its up to the organizers.

    agreed!!
Lets all say goodbye to the old map!!
Besides 59d is an awesome map.
I found it much better than 52e or 57b
What do u guys think ??
BTW UD have the prize money set to a minimum limit plz that would be nice
like if it is 5k as 1st prize as the minimum or something
Appreciate u guys with this tournament. GJ!

Ya, 59d was a great map. We can certainly play a tournament in its honor.
Thing is, I and a lot of the players at Sniper have stopped playing it for nearly a month. So, if my team mates agree, I am more than happy to play.

We have ALL stopped playing it. The thing is honoring a living/deceased person is great,b ut honoring a map? I MEAN WHAT? Repeat it aloud and see how it sounds. This thing is, the heroes are changed. Dusa will no longer hit chain lightning, Viper will never have Frenzy, DP Carrions won't be nearly as deadly, Herartstopper won't be Imba, Razor will never use chain lightning again. Get the drift? will NEVER do these again. The new heroes are here to stay, if we play this tournament in 59d and not do what IDEC, IHCS, DXD, RIHL, GosuCuP, Fnatic, F4F are doing and using hero abilities that are dead, I can honestly say that this is a step backwards and not a step forwards.

I beg you to reconsider uD. Will it benefit us to honor a MAP? Or will it benefit the community if we start plaiyng for the future.

I talked with Ice. it'd be awhile before the next stable map is released. HOWEVER, this is due to the release of warcraft 1.24

current dota map will have a LOT of bugs in v1.24
Ice will fix them, THEN release the next stable map (along with MINOR balance tweaking).

so basically, 6.61b + minor balance tweak + bug fixes for v1.24 = next stable map. now go figure.

Which really means that barring the minor balance tweaks, probably for heroes like TC, this is indeed quite near to be a stable map.

I also request you, UD, to reconsider your decision. I know you guys are playing 59d and are damn good at it. Opel and his team beat us hands down 2 days ago in 59d. But if you guys practice for a week, you should be even better, as the new map suites your style of play more.
