Will ATI Radeon HD 4700 run on a D945GCCr ?

I am lukin fwd to buy a HD 4770 but my only confusion is whether it will run on my D945GCCr motherboard...can anybody help ???

im running a HD 4850 on a ancient 915 chipset......nd it runns like a hot butter sliding on

a hot pan.

do i need 2 say anything else..

i dunno y i am getting choppy sounds after playing for about an hour and half...do u get these sort of problems??
