Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer receives honorary Doctor of Computer Science and Engineering degree
Did you know that Steve Ballmer recently earned an honorary Doctorate degree? Check out this video of Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer as he received his honorary Doctor of Computer Science and Engineering degree during his graduation on March 8th of this year.
“Steve Ballmer is one of the most revered and successful leaders in American business today. His influence and that of the company he leads is worldwide, and we are delighted and very proud to recognize his remarkable accomplishments with LTU’s highest and most prestigious honor," Lawrence Tech President Virinder K. Moudgil stated.
Ballmer began taking math classes at Lawrence Tech and attended the Lawrence Tech Summer Science Institute after his junior year. Ballmer was touted as an "unusually gifted student" when he earned straight A's in each of the school's six most difficult math classes.

Mr. Ballmer took advanced math courses at Lawrence Tech as a high school student before going on to Harvard, where he met Bill Gates," the video description reads.
