Default Is payment required for all online EA games!

I am talking about FIFA and NFS mw, and my platform is ps vita. I just needed confirmation that whether i need to pay EA for playing them online. And if so, how do i pay them? Can i pay them with PSN credit?

Are you sure? Cause I have heard that EA charges for playing online. And what if I buy it second hand? Can they detect whether it was used before or not?
