Alternative ISP in Dhanmondi

Currently I am using bdcom in Dhanmondi 9/A area.

However for some weird reasons, i cannot use my bdcom line with my laptop even though i switched its mac address to my desktop's one. I tried with few other laptops of my friends too and it is same.

I am thinking abt changing the line coz i cannot use it with my laptop. Are there any suitable alternatives for me in my current location ????

Price is not the matter. I just want a higher speed than bdcom if i change, which is 20KBps now.

Any suggestions anybody ??? Thanks in advance.

And, if price is not the issue why not get two BDCOM lines? That's what I did. 40 KBps combined. I had the same problem. I used to use my first connection on PC and thought I needed one more so I got one for my PC. And, they need to actually change the MAC themselves, and you need to tell them you'll use it on a Laptop for the line to work properly*. If you've changed the MAC virtually that won't work since they have ways of filtering anyhting other than the original LAN Card's unique MAC.
