What is a Jasper console?
Jasper is the latest revision of Xbox 360. Although the console does not physically look any different, the PSU (power supply) has changed, as well as the GPU die size. The PSU is now 150W (as apposed to 175W with Falcon) and the GPU is now 65nm. With this revision the 360 is now a full 65nm console, with both the CPU and GPU die size being 65nm.
Here is a comparison of power usage between all of the 360 revisions, including Jasper:
How to find a Jasper console in stores:
If you can match some of these details with your 360, then it might be a Jasper. There are some absolute ways with which you can identify a Jasper, like by matching the PSU. Please keep this in mind while trying to find a Jasper console, and when you are posting in this thread.
The following information is from confirmed Jasper consoles. Your best bet is to try and match this exactly before you purchase a new 360, as newer consoles have been found and are Falcon, NOT Jasper.
Lot Number: 0842X
Team: FDOU/CSON
Manufacture Date: 10/14/2008
PSU Output: 150W
Console Power Rating: 12.1A
The lot number, team, manufacture date, as well as the power rating can be seen without opening the box. See “How to find Lot and Team info:” below. Finding a console with a later manf. date or higher lot number will increase your chances of getting a Jasper console. Lots higher than 0845 should guarantee you a Jasper.

Note: The PSU's are forward compatible, meaning that a Falcon's PSU will work on a Jasper. There has been cases where a Jasper came boxed with a 175W PSU instead of the usual 150W.
How to find Lot and Team info:
There is a white sticker on the side of the box with the lot # and team. In order to find the manufacturing date without opening the box, there is a flap on the side of the box that allows you to peek inside and see the manufacturing date on the console itself.
You can also see the console power rating through this opening, to the left of the serial barcode. If 12.1A is listed, then the console is a Jasper.
Another thing, if you buy a 360 arcade and have 256MB storage built-in, then its a Jasper.
