    IDEAL 800VA is perfect for ur rig, it costs 2.8k. u will get 16-17min backup at normal load and 10-12 min at gaming with ur 7770 (aprox)

    Apollo totally a crap,

    "800VA kine dhora khaiselam, full load e thakle PC restart nito load shedding er somoy. pore ferot dia taka nia asche."

    Those Apollo and todays apollo aint same, dear. Akhonkar apollo gula IDB er 3 talay ak chipa dokan Orient technology te handmade hoy. If you dont believe me go there and see by yourself. Market e apollor 800va er vendor price is only 1,100/= (YES SUCH CHEAP). They dont use 9Ah battery anymore, they use crappy 7.0Ah single battery now.

    @Ghost Riley have personal terrific experience about this. Onek mana korsilam kinte, tarporo shune nai, but thank god somehow he managed to change that crap.

    Given the budget, you could try Mercury. By Khan Jahan Ali Computers (they have a outlet in IDB/BCS), the appellation's a bummer but really good and solid for a budget UPS. I'd have suggested APC or Centralion otherwise (by Flora Limited and PC Avenue-CD Vision).

    @Vanguard

    Which will be better option buying a IDEAL 800va or changing the battery of my current Luminous 1000va (which gives no backup right now)

    BTW price of a new pair of battery is BDT 3600 (from RAHIMAFROOZ)

    that depends on how much continuous money u want to spend in the future. If u buy a pair of batteru for 1kva, it means when it will deplete, u have to spend another 3.6k. If u buy ideal it means in future u have to spend only 1k for the battery. simple.

    they are bloody gang of thieves and cheats they sold a piece for 1.8k now, you can get those same or maybe even better batteries from Habibco at stadium market same warranty but 1150~1250. my experience with RAHIMAFROOZ is not very good. firstly they took 2.8k for a pair of batteries + 500 for service but when i got my unit back i saw that they didn't swap my old batteries; then they told me that they are giving me Luminous batteries but gave me dia-mac 1k a piece but they took 1450 . anyways as Vanguard vai suggests those are good ones.

    @nafis087

    Apollo, Mercury and Ideal every 1 of them has pathetic ac to DC conversion circuitry along with shitty caps all over the place.

    At such a low price I won't blame the manufacturer. After all you get what you pay for.

    The best thing will be to get a new pair of battery for your 1000VA luminous UPS. (assuming your system unit is in good condition)

    No need to buy battery from Rahima afroza. Go to sundarban Market at Nobabpur Buy a pair of Fast power UPS battery with 6 month warranty for a reasonable price. The store itself act as dealer for fast power. If memory serves me right each 7 amp battery could cost 800 to 900 taka. Your problem should be solved.
