Default Cant share files between two Windows 8 PCs via LAN.

When trying to share files between two PCs via LAN, it says I dont have permission to access "Other PC". I have to change network to private or something. But cant find any option to do so.

First I tried to transfer files between a Windows 7 Laptop and a Windows PC, showed the same message. Then I created a New User on both computers using same user name and password and logged from them. Worked like charm and was able to transfer files.

Then I changed Laptop's OS to Windows 8 and tried to share files again. Again showed same message. But this time even after creating new users, same message still pops up and cant get to transfer anything.
    Please someone help me.

You should turn off the password protected sharing feature and should turn on the Network Discovery feature in Network Sharing Center for both PCs.

Network discovery is of course turned on, sharing turned on and tried password protection both turned on and off.
