    Exclamation Buying PC from UK

A friend of mine is going to UK within 2 days and he wants to buy the following things:

Processor, RAM, MOBO, HDD, PSU. His budget is 50K (Taka) max. Will these parts be cheaper in UK than in BD ? If so can you provide suggestions on what to buy and from where ? Thank you.

Hmm, I called up one of my friends in UK, he said stuff like Processor/mobo varies, sometimes is similarly priced or 500-2000 tk more expensive. PSU and HDD is a bit lower, but not by much. GPU is a bit cheaper, for sure. But this totally depends on the product.

www.scan.co.uk/ This site is a good reference for average price, but I'm confused about the VAT.

Companies usually just convert $ to pounds on a 1:1 basis. It probably won't be a whole lot more expensive than BD, but it would be better to get stuff from BD since you get warranty, if he wants to buy anything from the UK, buy things that aren't available in BD like good quality SSDs, PSUs etc.
