Yes they have 3 lines of normal(not raptors) HDDs. Black, Blue, green. Black has higher throughput and cache. Blue is a little slower. They both are 7200rpm. But they released green as a drive which varies its speed according to its use. TO save energy. Later it was discovered that its just 5400rpm. So yes it actually consumes a lot less energy. So i will recommend this drive for only a secondary one or as storeage use. Not as OS/app drive. In which case it will slow down the computer.
