Default Now you can order pizza and breadsticks from Pizza Hut via your Xbox 360 and Kinect

Sometimes, while playing your Xbox 360, you wonder to yourself, "I wish I could have some pizza right about now." Well, if for some reason that was you, have no fear. Microsoft and Pizza Hut have formed a partnership to deliver a new app for Xbox Live. This app lets you order anything from the Pizza Hut menu via your Xbox!

The Pizza Hut for Xbox app allows you to view the entire menu and even create your custom pizza. Xbox owners can also customize their order or even place orders using their Kinect motion sensor and voice commands. The app allows users to link their Xbox and PizzaHut.com accounts for future orders.

"The app will let users order from the chain's full menu, including pizza, pasta, breadsticks and wings, and will feature Facebook integration. After submitting an order, users can share their choice with friends via Facebook," a report over at Polygon adds.

Apparently, this app has been in the pipeline for a long time and is the first app to allow users to purchase physical goods via a dedicated app from their entertainment console. "Pizza Hut has always showed affinity for new ways to order products. Now we can do it on console. The app was a logical progression," Xbox's Larry Hryb stated. The Pizza Hut for Xbox app will be available via Xbox Live starting today.
