WCG Bangladesh is planning to introduce a GamingiX(Gaming Exchange) in Bangladesh, in partnership with all the Major ISPs in the country. This is an attempt to enhance the standard of Gaming and be able to compete with Professional Gamers across the Globe. (Our past records at the Intl Arena had been disastrous....Something needs to be done.....)

The initial Research & Developement to connect all Gamers into a single Virtual LAN  has been performed and the results were spectacularly successful.

To start off, we have signed up with 2 ISPs (Link3 Technologies and TRUE Communication) through which the GamingIX shall be accessible. (We are moving very fast to hook all the Major ISPs into the GamingIX).


LOOKING FOR Beta-Testers
Before Launching the GamingIX we want to bring on-board a group of BETA-TESTERS; a maximum of only 40 Gamers to thoroughly test, tune and throttle the GamingIX.

Thus we invite every1(ofcourse first 40) to join in and be a BETA TESTER of the country's first and biggest GamingIX.

All 40 BetaTesters shall receive gift hampers and certificates from WCG Bangladesh and connectivity to the GamingIX shall be FREE during the testing period.

NOTE:- All 40 BETA TESTERs must have either "Link3 Technologies" or "True Communication's" Internet Connection to be able to participate. (We are moving very fast to make the GamingIX available through all the Major ISPs, so in the meanwhile please bear with us.)

What is GamingIX?

The basic concept is that ANY individual from Bangladesh can play ANY Multiplayer PC Game whether be it Online, Offline or in a LAN from ANY place(home....). against ANY other opponent from anywhere, irrespective of the different ISPs used by different gamers.

- Introduce National Rankings - This GamingIX shall be used to RANK all Bangladeshi Gamers.

– Needs Minimum Bandwidth (4-5 kBps)

- Provides very Low Latency.(estimated 10-100ms)

- ANY MultiplayerLAN Game.

- Dedicated Game Servers (CS 1.6, COD2, COD4, WCIII FT/DOTA, QUAKE4, UT2004, MOH...others)

- Manage Individual Game Statistics per player.


- Communicate with Gamers

- Participate in Online Tournaments

- Play whenever with whomever you want


- Preliminary/Selection Rounds for WCG National Championship.

এইটা নিয়ে, আমার সঙ্গেও ইরফান ভাইয়ের দীর্ঘ আলাপ হইছে, যদিও এইটা এখনও Micro Primary Level এ আছে, কিন্তু ওনাদের Plan অনেক লম্বা । অল্প দিনের মধ্যেই আর কিছু ISP এর সাথে ওনারা hooked হবে ।

F1 tried to start it a long time ago with a VPN server named "F1Games".
me, fahad, and shovon were the beta testers of it....
but then their server pc got stolen ( )
i hope they are start it with a better vision now.

That's my estimation. xD.

I guess, we will all just do Smile's crap again. Join the ISP who is hosting and play on WAN, laag free, and say it's the best. 8-)

Payment আর যাই হউক না কেন F1, Gamer দের কোন Charge করবে না, They will charge ISP & ISP will accomodate or charge or share with the gamers as far as I know. এই VPN Server এ দুইভাবে খেলা যাবে, One is, the game will be hosted on server & we will connect to play (Mainly on Tournament Time), another one is we will host through this server & the gamers will connect each other whatever ISP, they use, subject to respective ISP is hooked up with this server without using any Internet Bandwidth.

Come on, those of you who want everything for free should be little more practical. Like DC said, if by paying 200/- months, you get to play in a VPN all the major games from your home, why should you start wiping your eyes? You pay a lot more than that in a single visit to fast food shop.

@DF: Can you ask Irfan Bhai to be a member here and post the same thing? So that gamers can apply to be Beta Testers from here as well?

This will the biggest step towards improvement of the gaming scenario in BD, and I sincerely hope this does not involve the famous Admin from the WCG forum..
