I do know that specific software/hardware combinations, combined with some instances of hardware acceleration being used by Chrome etc and some DX9 games seems to trigger the black screens and they do exist. Some are also resolved with a clean install, didn't apply in my case as I setup a fresh windows anyway. I also know that their driver team is working overtime to resolve the issues which should be done in a couple of weeks (new driver released yesterday solves a lot of them) but ideally, they should've gotten to the bottom of it sooner.
On a side note, Ryzen Master works like a charm, I can set PBO for gaming and run an all core 4.25ghz for sustained loads using 32 threads. I think I have a decent chip as well, single core boosts near 4.7ghz and the IF can do 1910mhz with less than 1.0875v. Pretty happy with the system, just waiting for the conductonaut to lower temps. The 16 cores are crammed into a die area of about 150mm^2 (without the IO die), even with a water temperature of 38'C the CPU will go 85'C+ if I load up all cores at 4.25ghz at 1.3v simply because there's not enough die area to dissipate all that heat (about 165w). LM helps a lot for all core overclocked Ryzen 3000's. PBO gets all cores to 4.1 ish and temps stay around 60-65'C.
