well, you believe me or not, nowadays Notre Dame College, is not like the old days....i know a bro, who passed from NDC, now studying Genetical Eng. in K.U....he told me that, the teachers, now come to the class, underlines some topics and then start talking about their family! but, the strictness is the same....

In my opinion college is nothing just a place to time pass, seriously you go for a good college or bad all will teach you the same sylabus but if anything can make difference that is the basic knowledge , i would say getting any good college will give you an advantage not only for hsc and also for admission exam which will be more important than hsc result for you in future , ofcourse not only just ndc also rumc will do the same i mean skip things but at the same time they will give you some shortcuts which will make it different from all other colleges, i am saying this because i was studied my hsc from a ex-ndc student who is now studing at buet in Mechanical engineering and i was somewhat very weak in physics and math and my hsc was almost came and i had only 2months for everything and from him i got the complete guideline and by the mercy of allah i got gpa 5 and also got chance in khulna but it doesnt matter my hsc was from an unknown college and i had very bad basic then but that vya changed everything and those time was my best parts, but the last part is if you think that you can catchup and if you are a fast learner then go for rumc or ndc but if you are slow then just avoid it because you will face too much competition there and they will teach you in very short forms so you have to be aware from this and last but not least if you dont study yourself then no college can give you any better result so you have to do your best

I gave admission test in 2010 ..there were about 25 MCQs .. not easy .not to hard either.. but they mainly select or deselect students at viva .. viva te personal stuff ask kore like good habit, bad habit..amI chance pai nai .. govt science clg e porsi .. clg doesn't really matter that much.. hsc result e main...jodio ndc teachings helps in admission tests..if u r as lazy as me .. u better go for govt clgs .. if u r hard working go for ndc or rajuk .. best of luck

Of course college doesn't matter but still it's important. You should at least try for NDC. Their teaching method is basic concept based which will help you in future admission test.
And about admission test its mostly basic concept based AFAIK. I dont have much idea as I didn't sit for admission test. But @shafi can help you, iirc he got chance there.
^True what he said. Bro Khulna what? Where are you studying right now? Kuet or KU if you dont mind asking.

to me, i think home is the best place for study...i mean, to adjust in dhaka, as you live in comilla, would be little tough....
dhaka is a huge place, also costly, lots of people, crowded unless for you, if you had being studying all by yourself with the little help of your school teachers(no batch, no coaching, no private tutions and all), you can stay in the RUMC or Residencial Model College hostel and study [email protected] @HAWX

dhaka is a huge place, also costly, lots of people, crowded unless for you, if you had being studying all by yourself with the little help of your school teachers(no batch, no coaching, no private tutions and all), you can stay in the RUMC or Residencial Model College hostel and study [email protected]@HAWX
my brothers lives in Dhaka one SSMC and the other IN NSU ..and my father will also transfer to dhaka next year...so it's not problem for me ..the problem lies with getting chance at a good college

AND @giant do the administration allow muslim dress I mean panjabi pajama to wear in hte college campus...coz i am a religious person(at least i like to think so and also I am a Hafez-e-Quran)
I am an old student of NDC. can't say about the admission test, but you are allowed to wear panjabi pajama that's for sure. They care less about the dress.

I didnt know you're from comilla then please study there. Not everyone can do good away from home. Then why should you take risk? If you study hard you can be successful from anywhere. Fyi this years Buet first was from outside of dhaka.
