It depends on your posture and quality of sedal (sedal means seat) n cycling should do the opposite which means more blood circulation.

@REVx its mainly the sedal which contributes to that phenomena especially the ones that is narrow and doesn't support your butt. better sedals comes with a line of blank space for the pelvic floor.


You just have to trial a couple of sedals that suits your preference. As a general rule of thumb : proper posture that uses the sit bones to absorb most of the stress and pressure of being seated while riding

The sedal height/width can correct or introduce problems in various cases. Incorrect use of something will always yield negative result. Can u link me to that study? want to educate myself and others as to how to prevent this from occurring.

Yeah, those seats seem not to compromise ball-blood-supply and also use butt to support weight. But still, cannot tell before using one or giving trials.

you seem to be overly concerned bro. Millions of ppl are riding bi cycle everyday. If this was a widespread issue medical science would've started recommending ppl to ditch their cycles. besides the advantages it offers easily edges out the disadvantages.

Though for reference I've cycled for when I was in class 5 till class 8. Not much experience in main roads, so I prefer riding with BG people if there's such a group. Good thread, maybe it can be made a sticky if there's enough people.

with 8K most of the bike will weigh a lot. with 10K you at least have a chance for a better bike. Then again if u r strictly constrained within 8K then get a Price toronto with better RIM (u hav to ask for it though)
