xfx 9400 GT ddr2 512MB (3700-4000) 1 of my friend use this card& he is a solid fan of nfs & recently he has finished need for speed undercover.game settings was set to medium.
if u can extend ur budget a little bit then u can have xfx 9500GT ddr2 512MB (4700- 5000). Personally i'm not going to recommend any other gpu as ur budget is low.

Ami o 9500GT ~ 5000tk suggest kortam, but Frankly you will b paying a lot for the performance u will get
Just increasing 1500tk more you can get the Palit 4670 DDR3 which has more than 2x the performance of a 9500!

xfx 9500GT! try to avoid UCC.

@khelowar apni jodi 10000tk akta CPUr jonno use korte parsen ar 8000tk akta Motherboarder jonno use korte parsen then apne ki 6500tk dia akta graphics card kinte parben na?
You should give more priority to the graphics card more than a CPU ! If ur going to play games. Frankly U should get a Grafix card for ~ 12000tk (4830) if u can.

it's built for ppl who doesn't have the budget to buy a gpu when they get their pc bro.And the memory isn't the main fact! The fact is the shader model and bus, core bus and memory bus which don't seem to exceed 200mhz in intel gpus! sad but true!Ucc(uited blah!) is the premium gpu dealer of idb!on the 4 th floor!

since the brothers opened this thread supposedly regarding PCI express, i wud plz like to ask that what r the differences and advantages/disadvantages of both AGP and
all i know is that PCI is the newer thingy, but AGP is still being produced, probably developed and definately the more famous n available one.
i wud like to know which ones better for playing games, n what r their affects on graphics.
i intend to acquire a new laptop soon, so whats better AGP or PCI, and if so which configuration or version of it is preferable or good??

lol AGP is gone. It's all GPU now. Since you're looking for one in a laptop, don't expect really high performance. At most you should get one with 8800M

Provided that you want a decent gaming experience.

My Palit nVidia GeForce 6200 256MB DDR2 AGP card lasted from 2004-2008. It shouldnt have gotten busted, but it was faulty, and for tht, my last motherboard got busted. So be careful. Nowadays the cards are better. And AGP is still available, an original 256mb ddr3 ati agp costs 10k (UCC, dakaits)... so i suggest PCI-E as ur budget is low and ur mobo supports 'em, no probs. You'll have awesome performance from a PCI-E rather than a AGP, AGPs are history.. Have a nice day. Good luck on buying a gpu

lol naah I don't think he's picking on me, he just wants to know.

As for your question TooCool, you connect a GPU to the PCI-E slot on your motherboard. PCI-E itself is not a GPU, thesame way you connect AGP's to AGP slots. Now don't ask me for more specific details cause I don't know any, heck I'm not even sure if I what I said is completely correct . But I'm sure somebody else will be able to help you.

But I can suggest some cards though. If you are on a tight budget, get the one Giddy mentioned. If you can go higher, Ati HD 4850, even higher then Ati HD4870. This are all single cards. Now you can connect upto 4 cards provided that the motherboard supports it of course.
