Red dead redemption 2 unavilable to preorder on R* launcher

Hi guys,

did any of you preorder RDR2 on rockstar launcher? mine is not showing RDR2 in launcher. but if i use VPN then i get the RDR2 option in launcher. is it region locked? did any of you face that? thanks in advance.

afik the rockstar game have locked region and most of us bangladeshies have to wait a month to get the game from steam library

i dont think so. because i bought gta v (disk version) which came with r* launcher. there was no issue and there is no issue with gta v till now. rdr2 may be region locked but i dont see anything from other forums.

I've read from a few others saying that they have been able to pre-order the game using VPN. One bought it from Ukraine region where it costs only around 3,000 BDT (probably the cheapest region), and he says the game is in his library, with the 2 free games, no trouble. Heard from someone else saying that his brother living in Spain logged into his account from there and bought it for him, also no issues. But, later on I also heard people saying that they're facing errors when trying to go thru payment, and in few cases some are still getting charged for every failed attempt :/

I also want to preorder, mainly cos I want to play from day 1 dammit! But, I can't really do anything yet until 100% sure. I'll probably try on like the very last day, hopefully by then Rockstar provides us with the option to buy
