Default Best air cooling for CPUs in BD?

Is something better than a CM Hyper 212 EVO with 2 Corsair SP120s in push pull configuration available in Bangladesh? If so, then what is it?

Thanks a lot! Your help is much appreciated!

Yes there is, which is the Thermaltake Frio Extreme. I really doubt adding two SP120s will magically improve the efficiency of the Hyper 212 Evo as Coolermaster chose to use Xtraflows in the first place, the improvement will probably be not more than ~5C. Couple the Frio with three SP120s and it will probably be better than an Corsair H100.

I don't get why you guys get all excited over idle temps. Anyway to op, the frio extreme is the best air cooler you can find in Bangladesh right now, and imo it's a better option than hyper 212 evo + 2x sp120s.

Well idle temps are always inaccurate regardless of processors that is because the thermal diodes are tuned to read near values of optimum load temps.

Ive got a frio extreme for sale if anyone is interested and its lapped with a good finishing , ask @Rakin7 he saw it.
    FTW!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I've seen it, it had a very nice and shiny base and the product itself is in good condition too.

The TT Extreme is huge so you cant use high profile rams like Corsair Vengeance or Dominator. You either have to get rams with no fins or use low profile RAMs, like the Kingston Hyper-X. The noise is tolerable but noticable but not enough to give you a headache.

    212 EVO + 2 SP120s = 6K
    Frio Extreme : 2 SP120s = 12K
Would it be worth paying double the money? Is the Frio in push/pull bigger than a 212 EVO in push/pull? I'm worried about it covering the RAM slots. I'll be using a dual-kit Dominator Platinum.

i'm using the stock fan (xtraflo) ap push and thermaltake turbo exhaust at pull. Matches quite nicely. And a couple of arctic cooler f12 at exhaust.

Btw, i use 4xdominator sticks. I have clearance for that. But with frio extreme gonna block ram slots.

How much of an oc are you targeting? If you keep it within ~4.2GHz, I'd just go with the evo and an xtraflo.

Agreed totally. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing and you can see them right in this thread.

@Ahnaf Akeef you aiming for push-pull right, so what your chasis btw?

I can afford to lose one slot of RAM, but not more than that. The two DIMMs have to use the same color of slots on the motherboard.
Are you using the stock TIM that came with the EVO? Are TIMs sold separately in Bangladesh?

    Thanks a lot!

As high an OC I can achieve with the best air cooler available.

Aiming for the best air cooler I can get. Doesnt necessarily have to be push-pull. Will be using a 600T SE.

I understand. But now I'm factoring in the facts that the Frio Extreme setup costs more and takes up more space in the case and could block a few RAM slots. Since these are the only two options at hand and there's so much difference between the two in various aspects, I would like to know which one would be the better option after considering all of that and if the gains in temp with the Frio Extreme setup would be worth the money and risking losing RAM slots, especially since I'm going to be using RAM with heatsinks.

    Thank you!
