only 650VA with ur setup??????? u gotta be kidding me..

    tao abar 17" crt!!!!!

But even if ur UPS can provide backup at desktop ....i really doubt that it has the juice to allow uninterrupted gaming.

i had to change from a rahima afroz 650VA to 800va since i faced resets randomly especially when power goes off during gaming.

    @Cyber_Shot i bought my rahima afrooz 800vA (480watt output) for 5000 ( 2 X12V battery) 2 batteries alone worth 2200 taka.

rahima 800va will simply outperform other brand's 1000VA....like apolo mercury prolink.....

i havent faced 1 single reset from day1. check my current setup ( used to have a 17" CRT few months back)

but recent price may have increased but i think it should be within 5000-5800. (auto shutdown support, serial cable included)

    get it ....worth every penny.

and if u cant afford it then wutever u buy make sure it has AVR built into it. good luck.

if budget allows chokh nak mukh bondo kore rahima 800 VA kinoo. dun do the mistake 4 3 rd tyme.

and yes IDB te rahima afrooz er UPS paba (i bought mine 4m them) prolly on1st floor ( dui talai)

Automatic Voltage Regulator = AVR. it tries to stabilize the 220V up to a certain lets say 5% +- margin.

really a good thing for BD voltage instability.

and get the UPS ASAP caz summer is coming and rahima afrooz ups gets sold extremely fast during this time.

    so u mi8 look 4 other places like motijheel,mohakhali.

with ur setup if u have crt then atleast 1000VA

4 LCD 800va should be fine( refering to rahima froz in both cases)

if apollo i would say 1200VA should be the minimum for CRT

    and 1000VA if on LCD.

TT tough power comes with Active PFC ry8?
