Didn't anyone here use Zip's DC++ server? Zip had it all when I was using their line. My distro left them soon after they stopped VoD.

Default Re: Testing WAN : Any one use ZIP ?

Recently I changed my isp from smile 2 zip. I m now getting 30-80KBps speed. Zip 2 zip I always get 3Mbps with ma friend. And I played fifa09 without any lag and at the mean time I was voice chatting with him. It was so clear and smooth what can I say.

If there r more zip user please notice us and then we can share our files. I m very much fond of hd rip movie. Anyone have some? And also if anyone have lost planet and street fighter IV then pm me. I can get them through wan. . Anyways I think for zip users mediafire is the best. I have some big mediafire link database and website. With mediafire I get every opportunity that rapidshare premium user get. So if anyone need then pm me.

from zips website I got this
Video on Demand (VoD): Enables individuals to select video from our server for watching on PC. Watch what you want and when you want on your computer.
IP TV: Watch TV on your PC without any special hardware. It's an experimental setup and initially we'll be offering only few FTA channels.
Gaming: Play multiplayer games with friends and unknown users on our network as well as single player games.
ZiPod: Store 5000 songs in your very own ZiPod and listen to them anytime you want.
Music: Your favorite Hindi, English and Bangla music 24/7. With new music being added every week, you'll always hear the latest tunes.
Digital Radio: Eight digital radio channels are also available for your listening pleasure.
    [ More ]
File Sharing Server (FSS): Lets you share your files with fellow users and download off them also. This allows for a vast network of downloadable files. Like P2P kazaa.
Zip Drive: Your hard drive on the internet. Keep your important files on our little storage place to use anytime from any PC on our network.
Zip BLOG: It's the place where you can publish your own personal experiences, hobbies etc. using a powerful and easy-to-use interface. Create a personal online diary/scrapbook/photo journal... or whatever you want! Zip BLOG removes the barriers making it easy for almost anyone to get themselves publishing online.

Default Re: Testing WAN : Any one use ZIP ?

I dont get it!! How did you get that connection for 800 tk? Local ISP level purchage cost for a Zip express connection is almost 900 tk with vat [speed stays between 30KB - 35KB but never 50/60/80... ]
And the features you posted from zip website none of them work that good. Just try them and you will see how true I am.

Last time I tried WAN with Mohan bro didnt worked out quite well. My zip connection is PPPOE and he had a direct line I think that was the problem.
