Lightbulb A New Gaming Rig - Help Needed Urgently

hi friends ! i'm going to build a gaming rig & i'm short-listing here all the components i'm going to buy, plz suggest if i've overlooked anything.

    1) AMD FX 8120 (plz, don't suggest Intel, as i just can't stand that brand)
    2) ASRock 970 Extreme 4 (MoBo)
    3) Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM (2x8 GB)
    4) SSD - Samsung 840 Series 120 GB, HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1 TB & 3 TB & my old WD 320 GB.
    5) Cooler Master TPC 812 CPU Cooler
    6) Lite On BD Writer
    7) NZXT Phantom Series full tower cabinet

last, but not the least, thinking of PSU - Cooler Master GX 750W. is it compatible with 8120 ? will it be enough for a little gaming ? note, that i'm not planning to overclock at all, but want to make it future-proof as best as i can.. somewhere i read that this particular PSU is compatible only with Intel. is that true ? if so, plz suggest a similar or better PSU for my rig. am i missing something ? what else do i need to complete my rig ? yesterday, i posted this same question, but apparently it vanished from the forum, i tried hard to find it, but couldn't. so, i'm posting again, & if my previous post is still alive, then very very sorry for my double-post. plz, help me friends ! waiting for ur valuable reply. i'm just a noob here & also in building rigs, so if i'm doing anything wrong, plz bare with me. God bless u all...

get the intel setup like i5 or i7 instead fx series those are not meant for gaming at least for now and get samsung dvd rom instead lite on and if you are not overclocking there is no way to buy any extra cooler instead this use some money to buy a gpu gtx 660 or 660ti or 7950 that will make a lot of sense instead gt210 and then it will be a gaming pc

    1) go for FX8350 instead of 8120

install windows 7 64bit, no point in using 16gb ram with a 32 bit OS

Cooler Master GX750W should be good enough, you can also look at corsair psu's available in Bangladesh

for best advice regarding amd parts, mention @eXsTatik in your post/questions

sorry, can't see any reason for buying SSD, cpu cooler, Lite On BD Writer & 750W PSU when you won't buy at least fx-8150 or upgrade your GPU..!!

if u use ur pc for gaming, then the rig ur talking about is totally useless, pardon my french, but really it is, without gfx card there is no value of a powerful or semi powerful cpu let alone ssd. And g210 is one of the worst gfx cards to play modern games like fc3, crysis 3 or so on u can name at any higher resolution. I would suggest update ur gfx card, then think about others, Also ssd doesn't boost gaming performance that much if u r not mmrpg fan like warcraft mist of pandora or like this, and at best u can get 5fps more in this game, yeah it will make ur pc a lot faster but it will not make yr game run faster

Yes buy a better graphics card. All those upgrades won't mean anything if your GPU is a GT 210.

Don't worry about software compatibility issues with 64-bit. Plus if you get more than 4 GB RAM then 64-bit is a MUST.

my 1st pc was intel p4 & for the next 4 yrs it gave me a hell of a time, shifted to amd & all was well since then. that's why i can't stand intel, also don't have that much money to go for a sandy bridge or ivy bridge.

Don't worry about software compatibility issues with 64-bit. Plus if you get more than 4 GB RAM then 64-bit is a MUST.

thanx ! so my 1st task is to get a win 7 64-bit, right ? ok. going to do that. again my sincere thanx...

no, no ! i'm buying all the components 1 by 1 on-line & finally assemble it together. my present pc is amd athlon 64x2 dual core, mobo asus, g.skill ram 2 gb. stock fan & i already mentioned my graphics card.

gonna do it right away !

yeah first buy a good gpu, then think about cpu or other components. Gfx card is a must for any gaming rig.<br>gtx 660 for 20k is a really good deal, but it will last not for very long time. so if u can afford get a 670 or 7950 or 7970 for being future proof, they will be able to run ur games at decent setting with playable fps for more than a year i guess so.

    - - - Updated - - -

or u can go for mutli gpu setup but it will force u to buy a good psu as well as mobo, like i am using gtx 560 sli which performs very close to gtx 680 and a bit faster than the gtx 670, but again single gpu is a bit better than multi gpu.
