My 10 year old LCD is finally dying but right now I can't get a freesync monitor because of few issues:
1. My GPU is 980 Ti and so I can't enable FreeSync.
2. Which wouldn't be an issue normally since I could just buy FS monitor and then when I upgrade my GPU, I could use it.
3. But freesync monitors [with LFC] aren't cheap. And some FS monitors are defective. And if I can't test them on my current GPU and later [3-4 years later] find out that the monitor has defective Free Sync support, I will get fuked. Since by then I won't have enough budget to buy another monitor.
So what I'm planning to do now is to buy a very cheap LCD monitor that I can use for 3-4 years and then finally switch to a better FreeSync monitor along with upgrading my PC.
A monitor for 5000 Tk would be great, if one even exist [Can't go above 7000 Tk at the moment]. I mean how bad could it at that price compared to my 10 year old TN panel?
Also, here's my monitor, dying slowly [Now to the point of becoming unusable]:
I can see stars now.
Kinda looks like butt too. Maybe someone sat on my monitor while I was not in home, thus destroying it with an pattern that looks like asss.
Edit: I'm going to ignore unhelpful comments since it's not worth my time. I'm currently looking for some monitors myself, but if anyone has better suggestions for monitors at the price range I mentioned, I would appreciate it if you share the info with me.
This one caught my attention: http://ucc-bd.com/viewsonic-monitor-...21-5-2623.html
It's a bit above my budget but it seems to support 50-75Hz. 50Hz would be very useful for me. Can anyone confirm if this monitor really can do 50Hz without any OSD warning pop up issues?
