Thread: New budget CPU

  1. #1

    Question New budget CPU

Need to buy a new CPU. Budget is around 50k. Might add few extra if required.

    • Already have Asus 1050ti. So no gpu.
    • Casual use + software development (ASP.NET) + a bit of casual gaming.
    • Prefer i5 build. Not opposed to AMD but I have absolutely no idea about it. Previous i5 3rd gen served me well.
    • Mostly play some multiplayer games like ut2004, overwatch. With occasional good / great games like Witcher 3.
    • Thinking about ssd+hdd combo and 1x8 ram with another 1x8 for the future. Nothing is fixed.
    • Not sure about putting old hdd with it. And that GPU is not that old.

    Ogreem thanx......

    i5 9400F = 15,400 (Processor without integrated GPU, since you have 1050ti)
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB+8GB DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz = 8800 (Visual Studio and SQL Server will take a lot of RAM space)
    Antec NeoEco 550M 550 Watt 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply = 5000
    Asus PRIME B360-PLUS Mobo= 10500
Samsung 860 EVO 250GB SSD = 4700 (Your old HDD will work along with it)
Asus DVDRW SATA = 1200 (Optional)
    Any Good Casing= 4400
    Total 50K
