Guys, my x58 system is having some problem. I need to check which part is faulty. I cant find my spare i7 920. Could any of u guys help me lending an lga 1366 cpu .. pleasee?

it is powering off instantly. i am now 90% certain that at least the motherboard is faulty.

Take the VRM heatsinks off , clean the VRM section of the MB with isopropyl alcohol/ hand sanitizer. Use a brush, dry for at least 20+ min

if this doesn't help try another PSU
