Lightbulb Where to buy used PC parts in good condition?

I'm trying to build a potato PC which can game, like in:

    1st gen core i5/i7
An overclokable Motherboard from ASUS/GIGABYTE (H55 platform)
An used GTX 760 or anything better at 7-8k

I already have, the rest of the parts.

I was inspired to do this project from JERMgaming from youtube and my poor financial condition

So, someone please give me some resource where i can find some used parts at good condition and price or any other better solution for building a potato masher PC.

Everyone's help is appreciated AF in advanced.

Try local facebook groups, however I believe it will be tough for you to find the hardwares you mentioned above.

IMO best decision would be to pay a visit to the second hand hardware market on elephant road(the alley way opposite of Multiplan market). If you can find them on fb groups they will be in much better condition then those at the second hand market.

I think you will be easily able to find c2quad or any other 775 socket motherboard or processor but not sure about the availability of h55. I was also looking for h55 socket hardwares sometimes ago and found out they are available at aliexpress but the cost, shipping time, custom duty charge etc etc kept me away from ordering it. Didn't get the chance to check the local hardware market though. You might be able to find out something.

NOTE:Sometimes(maybe most of the time) the hardwares found on the second hand market are usually repaired. So make sure the seller is reliable and you thoroughly check the hardwares before buying.

    Hope it helps .

Just an advice I seem to give nowadays is that if you are on a fairly low budget, and you are not focused on playing only Esports titles (ie CSGO, DoTA2, LoL) on PC, then by all means it's better to just take the console route (PS4/Xbone)

But what about the high price of console games? ( I am not supporting piracy, but in general games are cheaper on pc- like old games or indie games if you do not want to play or buy AAA titles).

Games can be sold off as soon as you're done playing with them, or there are 1 or 2 places where you can even rent the games from for a reasonable price

Indeed @TRazerK bhai got a very good point, and i totally agree with him....Along with the growing console community(I believe) in BD people are buying/selling/trading game disks pretty frequently nowadays.
If you wanna just hop in on your couch and play few hours of casual games, getting a console is actually a pretty good idea IMO (considering the prices).

AFAIK there are also some online game renting services that lets you borrow disks with a reasonable subscription fee as TRazerk bhai mentioned.

if you want to build a pc from scrap try to select a processor and motherboard which has more support than the other , my bet on this would be going for 2nd gen i5 and h61 boards even though you cant overclock them but they are still really good for gaming and regular work and still you might find them plenty more than searching for h55 setups

Set a fixed budget and tell me exactly what components you need, I'll get you good used parts deals.

And in case you want to build a brand new Potato PC (assuming you already have a Monitor, Keyboard and mouse) you can check this guide out.
