They already use it on their macbooks. Afaik when they released lightning, type-C wasn't standardized (and it still isn't. Simply a garbage situation all around) but they might for the iPhone in either the next or future iPhone. Honestly they have to. EU has been on their arse to standardize port with all other phone makers.
