    Post Antec VP500PC Power Supply

    Hello,

    আমি Antec VP500PC Power Supply টা কিনতে চাচ্ছিলাম. কিন্তু সমস্যা হলো, আমার g41 Motherboard এ CPU connector 4 pin. অন্যদিকে VP500PC এর CPU connector 8 pin. তো জানতে চাচ্ছিলাম যে, এই Power Supply এর CPU connector কি fixed 8 pin, নাকি split করে 4 pin করা যায়!

    Unfortunately, the 8pin cable is not modular ( splits into two 4pins) by default in this psu model . You can just connect the 8pin connector directly in your 4-pin connector in mobo. It should be fine! The remaining 4 pins of the 8pin connector will just remain unused.

    Usually, when you buy a new psu or pc case, you are provided with with a 8pin to 4pin converter. I had quite a few left at home . You can buy one if you want. This also helped to increase the length of the cable and would have been useful for you since the cable in this Antec psu is a slightly short. Just an optional purchase if you want. Not compulsory.
