Most of the members has moved on with their life. Gone are the days where we used to tinker with game settings to get the most optimal performance, or those super awesome PC builds within a budget. And not too mention, the forums are a bit of a dying breed now due to other forms of social media.

Only in Bangladesh. Facebook has got us fags by the balls here. As more amd more time goes I'm starting to respect Grameenphone for refusing the Free Facebook deal. That's a high praise from me considering what a greedy pricks they are.

It's hilarious how many people's lives are dependent on Facebook, even some businesses. Otoh people on the western countries are ditching it cause it's too bloated. You see more strangers' posts than your friends'. Even India and Pakistan use Twitter more and here we're in a race to become the most active Facebook users in the world.

I did not mean facebook in particular. It's just that people now are more reliant on other forms of media. Back then if someone wanted to build a PC/buy components, forums were the go to place for recommendations. You got to know stuff from people who knew their thing along with top notch advice. Nowadays that is rare.

If you think facebook is spying and selling your data then just don't use it. For most Bangladeshis its not a problem because they have nothing to lose(no credit card and things like that).

We are loosing valuable time and productivity! And Since they are tracking my data, ads are targeted according to my interest (which may be a good thing sometimes), but most of the time, I am looking at a product or service that I don't need right now!
