Cooler master Gx 550w. Use molex converter for the extra 6 pin connector.

If you can try a Tt Smart 530W, its more efficient also handles well in high temperatures. You can get it around 6.2K Anyone suggests a cheap Gigabyte Superb E620 or less just know that they lack efficiency and can't handle high stressing power.

no it is 6+2 = 8 pin and again another 6+2 pin = 8 pin. 2 pins are detached if GPU needed 8 pin then just insert the 2 pin. its like 20+4 pin power cable.

@forhad_zaman when did u check the price of GX series PSU. Binary Logic Idb won't sell GX 550 lower than 6.5k then, i bought it @14/03/13 with thanks to the help of Vanguard vai.

Have u really used a Gigabute PSU or just advertising for Thermaltek, I've installed several dozen of both TT & GB PSU in several Gaming & heavy Duty Graphics PC running PCI-Ex cards that require extra power connectors (6+2 pin). All are same , all of them stayed cool no matter what burden I put on them. Now there's catch, all brands have a budget / economy model & a performance model. As the name says the budget model is for everyday use, the performance models are hardcore / professional use. Buy a budget model for hardcore gaming & later blaming the PSU for over-heating / low performance is not a smart idea.

Now were did i insinuate that point? Gigabyte has false advertising bout the Watt rating did you know? It says 620W but its actually much less

However, to this point i will agree that am not much knowledgeable on GB PSUs since i never used them, i only adviced

Bigger point: You do know this is an old thread , stop quoting on old posts
