Default XFX 8800gt AlphaDOg XXX help!!!!!!

There is an Antialiasing problem in XFX 8800gt AlphaDOg XXX. Almost in all new games. All other thing are ok accept this jagged edges. ATI has Adaptive antialiasing mode to prevent it. I use 16X antialiasing and 1280 by 1024 res. But the edges are not smooth. Any Geforce tweeking tool? Anyone help. This is my friend's card.

theres no problem with antialiasing with geforce cards, make sure that the drivers are properly instaslled. if needed, uninstall every trace of the previous driver and install the latest forceware drivers from the nvidia website.

also, some games prefer u to set "let application decide" and u should change the antialiasing settings from the game. other games do not have any antialiasing slider in game, and u need to change the settings from the nvidia control panel (or whatever its called)

and adaptive AA is basically supersampling, for nvidia, simply go to the 3d settings in the control panel(in advanced mode), and go to the option transparency AA. set it to SSAA, which enables supersampling. this does have a big hit on performance, mind u
