    Default Abit LG-95c

My MOBO Abit LG-95c can support only 2GB DDR2 RAM(From the Manual). But I attach 3GB DDR2 with it. And in bios and windows show 3GB active. How that can be? I play Rise of Argonauts, Lost planet, Fallout3, Fifa09, BIA Hells Highway, Warhead.......................etc with no error. Is it ok or it may cause future problem. PLZ help..................

Anyone use 45nm processor in this MOBO? Does this MOBO supports 45nm?

I want to update my CPU.

2 GB RAM @ each slot.. that means you can use up to 4 GB RAM.

    yes
945gc does not support 45nm. But 945gc motherboard may support 45nm.
My gigabyte ga945gcmx-s2 supports all 45nm(Up to 1333fsb) excluding quad and xtreme processor

Y r right bro. Though it supports via bios(F6h). I had this motherboard. When i bought it didnt support FSB1333 but after some days they brought a new bios which support FSB1333. It was one of the best motherboard for budget. But alas now g31 has taken its position.

But most of the available g31 and low priced g33 do not have 8 channel high quality ALC888 onboard soundcard. Only good midrange p35,p43 mobo have alc888 sound onboard.
    I love this mobo.

    Intel uses ich7 with 945gc chip. Ich7 suppopts 4gb(2+2)dual channel d
dr2 upto 667 mhz. But motherboard manufacturerer do not give the board full support to support
    4gb ram to reduce cost.

The manual of Gigabyte 945gcmx-S2 says it support's 2gb ram. Website also said that . Few month ago i found that it supports 4gb ram . They never mention that it needs a bios update. That's why i tried 2gb*2 transcend ddr2 800bus ram after and before bios update. And it worked as 3gb ram in both bios and xp. But cpuz(Xp & vita 32bit) and vista showd 4gb ram.

That is rishad's (bg member) pc's motherboard. It's running perfect till now with 8800gt alpha dog zalman edition+ [email protected] ram.
With 2gb ram gta4 was unplayeble and now with 3gb ram it's smooth.

Abit lg95c is a good motheraoard. It has two pci-x slot. U can use two nvidia card . One for gaming and another for dedicated physics processing.
There may be a way to use both nvidia card for physics and ati card for gaming in these type of motherboard. I am working on it
