Require Help to set up a P2P connection
I have a laptop with WLAN capability.
And a PC with with TP-LINK Wireless USB Adapter (Model - TL - WN620G)
And no Router Between them.
I am trying to create a peer to peer connection between these two machines.. like a LAN between 2 pc using a crossover ethernet cable... only wireless..
So yeah, the wired peer 2 peer connection procedure seemed quite easily to me, but all sorta trouble is happening when im trying to do this between a laptop which has WLAN and a PC with a wireless usb adapter.
Everything is looking very complicated to me at this stage.. perheps you guys have done something like this before? or have experience with this sorta things? can anyone help?

Re: Require Help to set up a P2P connection
It should not be too difficult. I paired up my HP laptop and a macbook, while i was in bandarban and played NFS, AoE
Follow these guides (since I am not there with you now, I got no clue how to proceed, but these should help)

Re: Require Help to set up a P2P connection
Thank you very much DarkCrunk. I have successfully established an ad-hoc network between my win7 desktop and vista laptop.
But now i face another challenge, i need to access the smile connection that i have in my desktop from my laptop. I am talking about ICS.
I have tried bridging smile's PPPoE with the WAN thingy but it doesnt allow that. :/ Looks like you can bridge only LANs or WANs with themselves, no PPPoE allowed.
Now, there has to be some other way, or something that im missing.. can you help?
