All about PSP UNBRICKING

I am pretty much of a dumb blonde when it comes to psp. So for obvious reasons, i am having a hard time trying to figure out to unbrick my psp myself. I am not able to pay all that money to go to a shop and unbrick it.. Plus i want to learn the whole thing to myself.

Well, I have searched all over the internet on this particular topic and all i came up with is some complicated terms like homebrew, custom firmware/ cfw, dark-alex, m33, downgrading, eboot.. etc..

If you don't anything about it, maybe atleast you can get me some good & useful links .. ?

When unbricking, all you'll be doing is formatting the PSP's internal memory then writing to them again. But before doing anything, you are always advised to do a NAND dump.

Oh, and there are 2 types of bricks, hard and soft. If you have a soft brick, them you won't need anything to unbrick the PSP. To know if you have a soft-brick, press and hold R then boot the PSP. If it boots to the recovery menu, then you have a soft brick, if not then you have damamged your NAND.

To recover from a hard brick, you need a "pandora battery".

That's easy, google "Hellcat's Recovery Flasher" Use that to flash M33 firmware to your PSP.

it didn work actually...at end of installing an error message shows up saying "you need a higher firmware than .net 2"
i cant remember wt is says xactly rite now...
