Anyone using MSI Armor GPU

I am building a PC for one my cousin.

He insisted on buying GTX 1080 or 1070ti. He is planning to play on 1440p.

In ryans I found only one 1070ti GPU available which is MSI GTX1070ti Armor edition, I am not aware of anyone who is using Armor ed GPU.

Can someone suggest whether this is a good choice or not?

Also I think GTX1080 is not available in market. Atleast cant find any in any of the website yet.

I wouldn't recommend going with the armour edition as it is much inferior to the gaming one. Go with the MSI gaming edition that is available @ UCC

So which one did your cousin end up buying?
I'm also on a tight budget here. I know gaming edition has a better cooling solution than armor but I want to know if armor is that bad? I just dont want to heat it that much like the 1080ti armor edition does. Can't find any reviews of 1070ti armor edition as well which really sukx.
