Q- What is this wc3isk?
A- It is a support tool for warcraft III. The other name of this tool is active Item HotKey changer.

Q- What can it do?
A- It will convert all key press that you like (or want) into Numpad_1, Numpad_2, Numpad_4... That is the shortcut key (hot key) to use item slot in warcraft III. In stead of pressing Numpad_7 with right hand (currently hold the little mouse) or left hand (which is on WASD keys) you can press F1 for much more easier. That is the only purpose of this little tool.

Q- Who would need it?
A- All newbie (like me) would. It help you in using item much faster for combo skill. Some gaming keyboard can program a specific key to manipulate the Numpad key (or whatever key you like). But (you see) it's expensive and some could cost you 50 bucks or more. So, my little tool is your best choice -who use standard keyboard- and it is free, isn't it? Why should you (and I) pay 50 bucks for a small feather that help you/us play dota better which you/us don't need for daily use?

Q- How to use it?
A- Run wc3isk.exe and you will see:

That little icon with letter "K" is the tool

Click left mouse on it


And the first menu:


And yet, you should set some keys for item slots.

When you don't need it, just hit the Exit menu


Note:
-Closing the config dialog won't effect the program in any circumstances.
-These shortcut keys are temporary. It work only when program is active.
-The shortcut keys only work in game Warcraft III. Out side game won't effect.
-Config setting is store in "keyset.cfg".
-Messing with "keyset.cfg" will cause shortcut keys to capture an invalid or un-exist key.
-Version 1.0b now support Multimedia Keyboard.
-Multimedia keyboard or gaming keyboard will work fine, but for capture special keys, keyboard management software (e.g. Logitech iTouch, SetPoint...) should be turned off, otherwise this tool can not catch that key press.

Q- What is this version?
A- It is v1.0b now. Some changes have made from v1.0.

Q- Are there any differences from the first release?
A- Yes. The first release doesn't support multimedia keyboard, but now it is. This version is recommended.

Q- Is it free?
A- Yes, it is. It is a present, so it is absolutely free. Anyway, give me a comment if you find it useful.

u can use any KEY of ur Preference...easily Changable..

for Anubarak....i started to Like Dagon Again
for Warcraft Standard Games...i still need some Study on this
but it should be Very Usefull for Orc Healing Scroll...

keys u dont use with perticular race u can use them instead...dont u ?
u can put the TP in 1st pocket,Heal scroll in 2nd & 3rd...so no more than these 3 keys is needed i guess...

i would like to Convert Num 7 -> 7 , Num 8 -> 8 , Num 9 ->9

Mouse tools don't exist! You need a SS/Logitech/Razer/Rapture/Sidewinder for that. For example, I have the Macro <F1><10ms delay><F1><10ms delay><1><1> set to mouse button 5 on my Copperhead, it's really sweet.

How can I remap the inventories to S D X C or anything else on custom Keys.txt .. without having to run the customizing program on while playing.

But Bro!!!!.... I've used it and customized my keys.... but my problem is to customize my INVENTORY KEYS...
If i remap my inventories then i'd have to leave the program running, dont I ???? And that wont be allowed on WCG....

So wat I wanna do is to remap my inventories to T,Y,G,H,B,N instead of 7,8,4,5,1,2 WITHOUT ANY BACKGROUND PROGRAM.... Is there any solution to that?

There must be.... BCUZ I've seen [MYM]Lucifer's playing vid from a side cam view... the video was about 1 min.. whr Lucifer was fighting with 2 heroes against a large army... all the time his left hand remained on the left half of the keyboard... he must have used inventories many times then... and I din't see him reach for Numkeys.... so he must have customized INVENTORY keys.... HOW DO THEY DO THAT?.... since the referees only let u paste the .txt file and nothing else (I am talking of any big tournaments)...... So Do they program the .txt file themselves? ........... I've also checked that There's no fukin option for inventories.

BUT HOW ARE THESE GUYS MAKING IT POSSIBLE.....

some pro's use edited .txt file & some dont...
it actually needs vast amount of practice...

xntric (BG member) uses Mouse which have more
buttons (mayb 8)...by which he can TP back or use Heal
Potion only pressing mouse button (not clicking on Inventories)

to change inventory settings i suggest u to use ^^ this threads
soft & u have to keep it running...set ur num 7 > 7, num 8 > 8..
& keep ur TP & Heal potion on those slots of inventory only..

but i dont use this soft either...i rather die for not doing TP timely

btw : i dont analyse this game any more, i dont have time..mayb there
are some new softs around the market now a days...lemme know if there
is any

u can't change inventory by changing customkeys.txt.

and i think pros have special gaming keyboards with macros n stuff where u can change the buttons w/o use of much external programs.
