Finally Western Digital

Well i am very glad to announce that finally Western Digital has arrived in Bangladesh. It has been imported by Computer Source Ltd.Lets hope that the hard drives are suitable for the climate in Bangladesh. You guys can try the hard disks out. Normally Western Digital HDDs are very reliable and responses fast.

As much as I know world wide Hitachi HDD er jonno ekta valo brand but Bangladesh e asse sob cheye pocha china made model gulo Even USA made Maxtor gula jotil but Bangladeshe j Maxtor paoya jay tar dosa to sobai janen!
Ami ekta Hitachi kine super dhora. Even Samsung is selling cheap china HDDs recently. Thats why HDDs price goes down a lot.
All I am trying to say.. China briefcase baparider jonno ( jara briefcase e kore china theke 3rd class product gula dese antese ) valo product gulo Bangladeshe business korte pare na! Pore dealer rao compitition e tikte na pere oi sob vuya mal amdani suru kore!
I hope they will bring original and best Western Digital HDDs.

climate suits them fine, ive been using WD hard disks in BD for more than 5 years, two raptors, one 32mb cache black edition caviar and a standard 16mb cache caviar...all of them have been running for 5 years straight with no problems whatsoever

SSD's price is sky high... u can buy a good pc instant of buying a good SSD like Intel's X25... The it's still droping slowly... if u need a fast HDD go for the WD's VelociRaptor 10KRPM HDD.. that's the fastest hdd u can get for a desktop pc... the sad part is it's not available in BD....

toshiba, samsung, intel, kingston and corsair( upcoming) all make quality SSD's (they dont have the random writes issue) but are certainly expensive. i have a veloci, how much do u think i can sell it for in bd? i can sell it when i come back during summer

Depends on many things... condition, size etc... u should get a good price coz this hdd r hard to find in BD... the old raptor 150GB with 2 years warranty goes for 15G+ in BD.. the new ones r not available yet......

as far as i knew, ssd hdd r for laptops ...... not for desktops ....... i m not sure abt this .....

but yeah this is gr8 news dat WD will b available in bd now ...... but i hope they bring the quality ones .....

SSD's can be used with any comp with SATA port.......

আমার কাছেও একটা Western Digital 80 GB HDD আছে. They are fine with the weather of Bangladesh, তবে আমার HDD টা Thailand থেকে ৩ বছর আগে কিনেছিলাম ।
