Best Controller for Fifa 09 ? (PC)

I play Fifa from time to time for fun. Its usually me and my friend Dr. Shiny ! He uses a very old and seldom used XFX Xgear. With the keyboard, it seems very difficult to give creative crosses and passes.

Same with the XFX controller, it is almost like the keyboard. The directions seemed to be like the keyboard ( X+Y axis or -X + -Y axis) but nothing in the middle.

Am I missing something out ? Or are these product limited to these movements only ?

What about the "Trick stick" ? Me and Dr. Shiny used to play NBA Street v3 (imba game) in my PS2 back in 2006. Does the Xbox360 controller have trick stick with which I can perform the trick moves in Fifa ?

Please suggest a good gamepad through which me and Dr. Shiny can achieve better and more competitive gameplay

DC i think logitech er gamepad is best for playing FIFA and all other sports games .
but ai gamepad baire teke ante hoi Bangladesh e paoa jai na , aita akta boro problem.
ar Bangladeshe I guess XFX Xgear tai sobche valo quality mone kora hoi. ar ami jotodur jani XFX Xgear er driver tik moto install kora takle & mode button on kora takle up-down, right-left carao middle e kaj kore.

dude, im using the Xbox360 gamepad and the trick stick seems to be working quite fine. So, i suggest that u use this one instead of the old Xgear.

xbox 360 gamepad for windows is fully supported for FIFA.. you can perform every possible PC moves with this. Logitech RP2 is also fine, but not available in BD.

but xfx xgear and other gamepads can also be manually configured for using the trick stick. btw gamepads support 8 directions in PC version.

The thing is not working in 8 directions...:/ KB also have 8 directions...

so is the KB & GP the same ? no. why not ?
the thing is when u shoot a ball to Opps Post...Ur unconscious mind automatically
adjust some swing,so Ur Thumb moves, & DIRECTIONAL stick is slightly moved
without Ur Concern,but in KB there is nothing called unconsciousness,when u press left
arrow button, it will go directly do the left,it will never give a Slight Swing until u consciously
add some...(pressing the LEFT+UP or LEFT+Down button intentionally)

that makes the difference in Crosses,Shoots,Pass everything...

Best for FIFA unfortunately is Microsoft XBox 360 Controller. Logitech Rumble Pad 2 is really good as well.

My advice, buy a Logitech Rumble Pad 2, coz it's the best there is, just for FIFA Xbox 360 is better, but overall RP2 pawns!

Buet er Shamim vai KB te khelen...uni besh Xpert KB te...also arekta Problem ase KB te...
at a time shob key kaj kore na

KB te u cant Charge keeper (W),Call 2nd Defender (S), Charge 1st player (D), Run first player (E)...
ei 4 keys ekshathe kaj kore na.... so when a player is already gone passed u,when u r calling the Keeper
to save ur day, u can only charge with ur 1st player but cant run ... this is a Big problem defending.

I talked to Shuvro bhai (VIII/Joker) earlier today and he also suggested the x360.

Me and Dr. Shiny went and bought a wired controller for 3500. Dr. Shiny will be getting his one tomorow.

Downloading drivers for it right now. Can't wait to try it out !

be warned tricks are not always worth using against human opponents.. but you'll find manual passing controls handy.

That move (back, down) what's it call? Devil Blood uses that against me, works nice. =|.

Stick...D pad is only for Tactics change...
but older version GP's dont have Stick...
those who have them use D pad to play :")
