If you are thinking that octacore means 8 cores then you are outta league, that exonys octacore has 4 high performance cores for tasks like gaming bla bla and 4 low performance core for other tasks like emailing and navigation, so no simultaneous 8 cores for you i.e xZ, one will not cry.

    some READ up for you.

The US variant of the S IV uses the same Qualcomm 600 chip as the HTC One, so it surely doesn't have a reason to 'cry'.

Apple marketing chief Phil Schiller said, "At Apple we know that it's not just enough to have products pumped out in large numbers. You have to love and use them. There is a lot of data showing a big disparity there."

The new Galaxy S4 was clearly an evolutionary leap in terms of hardware. But hardware innovation is what Samsung fans have already come to expect from the company. Even the early Galaxy devices offered more in terms of hardware features than a comparable iPhone. And Samsung has continued that legacy with the Galaxy S4, offering consumers a bigger screen, a thinner and lighter device, a better camera, and a faster processor.

But now Samsung is trying to add more software features and capabilities to its devices to show consumers why they need all those hardware bells and whistles.
"We've always been known as a hardware innovator," said Drew Blackard, director of product planning for Samsung Mobile in the U.S. "And now we have become a software innovator. And I think that's surprised people."

While it may be true that Samsung has once again raised the bar in terms of hardware and has packed in a ton of new software features, where Apple has outshone its competitors has been in making its devices simple to use with an elegant design. And there's no sign that the company will move away from that strategy.

C Net analyst Avi Greengart said "I don't think that Apple ever sold devices based on simply being cool," he said. "Apple is a strong brand because it makes technology that is usable, with an elegant design."
"Samsung showed off so many features that I think the average user will be overwhelmed," he said. "Many of these are what I call gee whiz features. They might show their friends once when they first get the phone, but they may never use them again."

let's go deep into some features of S4

    1. Octa-core processor: It is the world's first smartphone with an octa processor. Galaxy S IV is powered by Exynos 5410 processor. It has eight cores with four of them being the high-performance cores based on A15 architecture from ARM, a British company. These cores run at 1.8GHz. The other four cores, which are slower - 1.2GHz - but more power efficient, are based on A7 architecture to handle common workloads.

    2. Dual Camera: The device also has a 13-megapixel camera, compared with the S3's 8-megapixel camera. In S4 with this feature, one can simultaneously shoot with the front and rear cameras. When capturing moments, users can choose from a variety of frame effects which blend the two pictures naturally and also adjust the size of the small picture inside the big one. Users can select 8 different ways to combine the two photos taken by the front camera and the rear camera.

    3. Sound and Shot: Now, listen to your photos. This new feature allows you to record a few seconds of audio before you capture. In this way, you can enrich any picture by adding background sounds for a few seconds.

    4. Drama Shot: It lets you take a series of pictures of a moving subject, and merge them into one picture. Thus, it allows you to see all the action in one continuous time-lapse.

    5. Smart pause: The S4 can stop and start videos depending on whether someone is looking at the screen.Smart pause is an eye-tracking feature, which pauses videos when it detects your head moving away from the screen. When you are watching a video, the video pauses when you look away then it starts right up again when you are back.

    6. Smart scroll:
It allows you to scroll the browser or emails up and down without touching the screen. It recognizes your face looking at the screen and movement of your wrist and then scroll the pages up or down accordingly.

    7. Air View: The screen now senses fingers hovering just above the screen, and some applications react. Air View allows users to hover with their fingers to preview the content of an email, S Planner, image gallery or video without having to open it. Though the feature is present in the Galaxy Note II, but in Galaxy Note II Air View allows a user to preview content by hovering the S Pen (not finger) over the content.

    8. Air Gesture: With Air Gesture, you can change the music track, scroll up and down a web page, or accept a call with a wave of your hand. Air Gesture in the Galaxy S4 allows users to navigate the phone without actually touching it.

    9. Eraser: It allows you to remove unnecessary or disturbing elements from the snap. You can save the best after erasing moving objects from 5 consecutive pictures.

    10. Group Play: With the Group Play function, users can enjoy music, photos, documents and games with those around them without even requiring a Wireless access point or cellular signal. It enables users to connect directly with others to share, play and co-create content and entertainment instantly. Its Share Music option allows users to have the same song playing on multiple phones in sync to create the best party atmosphere

11.Universal remote: The S 4 comes with a built-in infra-red diode, so it can control an entertainment center as a universal remote. This is a feature that has showed up in Android tablets before.

well there are still a lot of things to discover fingers crossed we can wait to see who in our country can afford the premium pricing of S4 after it arrives for us to use.

But clocked at 1.9ghz which still makes it a overall faster device over the one S.

For me the S4 is the best Galaxy out there. If you hated the s3 then surely u won't like the s4. It's a combination of gs3 and gs2. Bt again it's above all of them. The only downside I see is the polycarbonate back. And a bit curve at the 4 edges. Well it would be best if the curve was lil bit less. And the octa core processor is just good. Less power consumed. Long battery life.

It's one of the fastest device and of course filled with features. The design just doesn't fail. It still looks ok and thinner n light compared to the competition. Overall I loved it. Way better than s3 and the best of galaxy series. My personal opinion.

I will surely stick to S3 till S5 goes live. But if I change then I will go for Htc One. HTC One has an unique UI, thanks to the new Sense 5.

@Uchiha Obito same here I am satisfied with SAMSUNG Galaxy S3, will wait for a tremendous change, a revolution of technology to come. S5 or S6 will surely be one.

Really out of idea. Maybe it's a pre built s4 which according to many early reviews got lag in few cases. And they hope the final product will see a good fast device.
