Default 1st Time Razer Mouse User struggling for good grip

Just bought a Razer Imperator 2012 4G Dual sensor mouse. (I always prefer claw grip)

8 inch span from thumb to little finger.

This is my 1st gaming mouse and I'm strugling for a comfortable grip on this mouse.

It's quite big compared to typical A4tech or X7 mouse to which I'm quite used to. But I'm absolutely loving the smoothness.

My concern is putting in extra effort to keep the mouse in my grip makes my hand fatigued.

So, is this normal? Do you think I'll get used to it in few days/weeks?

or should I sell it and get a smaller mouse. (During my tour at IDB, I couldn't find any small gaming mouse except razer orcha)
Deatadder seemed even bigger so had to skip it.

So, pls pour in your suggestions/recommendations.

you will get used to it.

synapse is 中中 but you must use it.

The Deathadder has a much more comfortable grip than the Imperator, you can finger-tip it even though it is mainly a palm grip mouse, whereas you can just palm the Imperator since finger-tipping would result in hand fatigue. The Imperator's palm grip gets annoying and painful after a while if you're coming from a smaller mouse, while the Adder, even though looks and is bigger, feels better and firmer due to it's longer length.

I own both and could not get comfortable with the Imperator even after months of usage, but did easily get with the Adder in about a week. If you're coming from the A4tech X7 mouse, the Adder would be much easier to get accustomed with since they are of similar form and size.

I would always choose the Adder over the Imperator just because of it's superior sensor and grip. But then again, to each his own.

-Can you measure your span from thumb to little finger in '' inch? * mine is 8" btw

-between Deathadder and imperator, which one has higher height from the surface?

the old imperator had a reallly bad reputation for it's weird sensor.

    - a bit less than 8.5", stretched.

    Imperator: 4.85” (l) x 2.76” (w) x 1.69” (h)

    Adder: 5.00” (l) x 2.76” (w) x 1.73” (h)
    - the adder, but doesn't have the weird hump-like curve, and the extra length evens out the somewhat extra height.

    - old one apparently, the 3.5G version.

    Almost 9".

Happily using Naga Hex and Mamba 4G.

    Never used imperator.

@CvP with 9" u can do claw grip easily if thats ur thing. Do u think I should sell the imperator 4G and get an Death Adder 3.5G?

@error thanks a lot for the h/w/L measurement. Any idea how is the imperator 4G dual sensor vs 3.5G DA Black edition?

My hand now gets a lil bit less fatigue after playing some games. Still not sure if I'll be able to get fully accustomed with it.

Oh please xai's driver was even worse, synapse 2.0 has improved with the implementation they did with the new driver. Honestly microsoft had the worst mice driver I ever used, it was atrocious. Just use synapse to store the settings that you need and uninstall it, you won't ever need it again.

Honestly if I were you Id just get a claw grip oriented mouse like the sensei or something, you just bought a mouse that is meant for palm grippers, the imperator is just darn weird, it tried to mimic the naturalness of the mx518 but fails miserably because of the slight difference in shape and the crappy sensor that is embedded within it, theoretically the PTE is a very sophisticated sensor but the way it works it tracks z axis motion thus making it non optimal for gaming, though it does have the highest perfect control speed of any mouse to date, just that the schitty z axis lift off bug and the dust bug due to this sensor being uber precise.

Lol that mouse has a bit better quality than the older a4tech mice but the sensor is much inferior as a4tech has now opted to use all pixart 3305 sensors on their mice and this isn't even the H model from the kana which is capable of 150Ips, this is the lower end one only capable of half of that, not to mention at higher dpi it jitters and also has minor prediction.

I have seen alot of people recommend the bloody v3 without any solid backing but honestly its just a POS, I find that the older mice from a4tech had great value though, if you are loooking for a mouse @1500 ish get an intelli for not too much more, its much better from all angles.

No I am talking about all the newer a4tech models, including some of the newer x7, the older optical ones had avago sensors with decent controllers. Newmen mice are even worse :S really not liking these mice coming into our market we would be better off with the 'deathadder asian edition'
    FTW!!!!!!!!!!

3.5G deathadders tracking blows almost everything out of the water. Perfect across most surfaces.

I dont have any complain for the sensor. it rather feels really smooth but the grip feels a bit weired. Perhaps Im better off with cheap a4tech mouse.
