    Default gpu choosing help!!!

hi bros,,i have a little confusion about buying a new gpu, my current system starts with intel pdc E5400 2.7GHz and using it at 3.5GHz after a bit oc ,, have a gigabyte g41s2 board , and old school xfx hd 4350

so it's time for a little upgrade!! first i choose sapphire hd 7770oc edition , but then i got a offer for a sapphire hd 6870 !! but it has a few days warranty left !!! the point is how much these card will perform with my current rig !and about the bottleneck !! as i have 19" monitor so the playable resolution is 1366x768 !!

and one thing i have to mention that i'll upgrade my cpu to at least core i3 within 2-3 months or so!!! so please help me to pick one !!!

Get the 7770 OC. Should be fine for your resolution, but you might have to turn down the settings on very demanding games. Still better than the 6870 as it's warranty is almost done. Depends on your budget though.

slightly overclocking your processor may reduce some bottleneck cases in some intensive cpu based game unless 7770 will be fine

bro 7770oc and 6870 2nd hand will cost exact same,,here the budget is same,as i'll change my gears soon ,, talked to the seller and said their will be not much problem with the current system ..but still couldn't make any decision!!!!

    - - - Updated - - -

though the system's overall performance increased after oc i think it won't bottleneck much!!previously win7 rating was 6.2 and now 6.8 , and getting the most of it!!!!!!! i know it will face some trouble in cpu intensive games ,, but i'll change my processor as soon as possible to a core i3 , or if my stay with my current 775 socket then have to look for a 2nd hand c2d e8xxx or c2q q8dxxx/q9xxx
