i want to play some ps2 games on my pc.like theres a tmnt game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare which is for xbox and ps2.l like action games that u can multiplayer on one pc,but the reality is that these sort of games arr released on consoles rather than on pcs.so i need some info on these ps2 and xbox emulators.oh and another of my favourite [console] game is fifa street,i played that game on ps2.i really would like to play that game on my pc.

you will need a top notch pc to run ps2 emulators properly.
on top of that, they are not what you call "plug and play"
things. most games require specific settings and etc etc.

and finally, not all games run properly yet.

Why not?Explain!There's no possible reason why it shouldn't be good.I've been emulating Ds and Gba for a long time.Both have been working fine for 3 yeaars.

true in the sense that these emulators (PS/PS2/XBOX) stress your CPU to max.
but then again, see your CPU usage when you run latest games...

True all emus completely put my pc to it's limits.But that only happened hem I was speeding things up with the fast button or something.Anyways Games do it more.So pollob u're idea has no logic in it.

pc game are well configured to cope up with pc system
but console game is not configured for pc
emulator just try to do this. it acts like a virtual hardware.
cpu usage=running emulator+game > cpu usage=max out graphics that are configured for that configuration
running pc game according to requirements does not cost that much cpu usage.

yeh! dont risk ur PC for PS!! a PS2 is only 7-1000tk now. Buy! ps3 emulator e jibone pabenna.

you are pretty much wrong there.

try observing your cpu usage when you run some latest
games.

and one more thing, who in the world said using your
cpu at 100% will shorten your cpu life? (provided you have proper coolings).

actually i faced some problems abt running ps emulator
i used emulator to run a game(cant remmember right now) to see the gfx difference between pc abt some years ago
i configured all things well ..... but after some time my pc just shut down .. i thought just power prblm
but then again my cpu just doin the sound like RRRRR and shut down again

but i hav played many games in high settings without gettin RRRR prblm and facin shut down
so i just thought that emulator can easily fry my pc.
so may be i m wrong .. if then i m sorry

well bro there was something wrong in the pc.I've been playing psX(Ps1) and Nds games on my pc for a long time.So yeah!That ide is a slightly outta the line one

in fact, depending on the game (and your pc config), the PS2 emu may not even need the
full power of your CPU.

however, almost no pc games focus on this issue. they take all they can (thus results in a variable max framerate).

Dl from here:www.romulation.net the burn the iso with something.I should warn u though huge files .And u need membership which is free.If u don't have it u are gonna have to stick to Rapidshare mirrors which aren't always available.Besides Directdl is much better.
