    Post MR9, MR12, MR15 - Really ?

Do we really need all this crap ? Do we really need different clans practising in different weird formats ?

The CSS Scene in Bangladesh have gained some momentum and I believe the time has come when we setup an autoritive body which will decide on the formats to play CSS in competitive matches.

The recents tournaments at Blizzard and GAMO had different formats. Most people do not know about MR9, MR12 and in fact, where CSS comes from, the originity and in fact they have no clue whatsoever of current events and updates of the game that they play all day long.

There is none to blame (!), Internet is so scarce (!), Everyone knows Facebook(!), but mm, Cevo, CAL anyone ?

Lets leave the past where it belongs and step up to a new, better and much more competitive era of CSS Gaming in Bangladesh.

I urge the team leaders from the top clans to come forward and decide on a format to play CSS with.

    Regards

looks like general CS players need some education. i agree that there is too much divide among them.

being a FIFA player, all i can say is, the divide shouldn't be there. if u think abt soccer gaming, there are like 500 PES players, and 1000 FIFA players. if they practice properly, BD will own anywhere like in WCG be it FIFA or PES. but in CS, there are like 4 CS1.6 teams, and 4 CSS teams (just saying..) only. so nobody stands to gain anything at all from this.

I still think that we shoulkd concentrate on the only available international formats, i.e., MR 9 / MR 12 . MR 15 is for 1.6 only and it's downright stupid to play it here anymore.
This is the sexiest signature in the world.

This time, it's a strong contender to be literally that.

    agree 100%
anything to do with 1.6 has to go.. We have seen that we are light years behind in 1.6.Its not recoverable... and lets face it: you cant become good in something that u don't believe in or you don't like. And I think majority of us don't like 1.6. And no offense but 1.6 will be dead soon... I think it'd be better if we concentrate on whats coming..

    btw my preference is MR12

these are just my opinion so please dont kill me

Yup. I like MR12 as well. Not as short as MR9, thus giving any side, a chance to come back. Unless its .. XL vs DW

I just don't see the point of playing 1.6 rule in CSS. MR15 was Made for 1.6 and works in that game. Weapons in 1.6 are more balanced, etc - don't want to discuss all that.

I hope Sreshto and others replies to this thread. But then again, they are die hard 1.6 players.

offtopic - why is crush's server down ?

MR15. Used for ONLY CS 1.6. The WCG format.

    MR12. Used by CEVO.

    http://banglagamer.com/forums/downlo...do=file&id=142

MR9. Used by CAL/CPL, CGS, ESEA. The fastest format, and personally my favorite. ;-).

Next CSS tourni, where's the post of it? And what format, and registration and what?

    MR9 is my vote.

And for the semi and finals, I'd say best of 3 MR9. xD
