That Deepcool Gamma Archer is supposedly worse than your stock cooler as said by @BFG9000 . Better save up and get a Hyper 212 Evo or get some good T.I.M. (Thermal Paste is what most people call it).

Coolers come with good Thermal Interface Material or "Thermal paste", but even with the stock cooler, you should not be crossing 80C unless there is something wrong with your TIM or mounting.

I'm more or less sure that either you couldn't apply the thermal compound right or put the cooler wrong. Gamma Archer ain't worse if not better than the stock ones IMO. Reapply TIM and make sure you didn't over/under-apply it while mounting the cooler right on the board.

Rakin, that was just a suggestion. I should have cleared it on the thread earlier. Compared to the stock cooler that came with boxed i5 3450, Gamma Archer actually performs better by a slight margin(3-4c) with the cheap 20-30tk white TIM.

It costs 900bdt as per your query on my thread.

Thats not a problem. Go there in person and bargain a little. But first reapply TIM and mount the cooler properly. Post here after you do so with results.

It costs 900bdt as per your query on my thread.

@n33l Your stock intel cooler has 4 push pin that goes through the motherboard mounting holes. dismantle your mother board from the casing then check all four push pins. They should look like below.Click image for larger version.

If none of the push pins are broken, don't buy aftermarket HS(assuming u r not into OC), simply reseating the HS properly should fix your problem.
