Default buying s3 ; some queries and questions

will buy galaxy s3 next sunday/monday . i am not a techie guy. so i have some questions regarding these

    1. where should i buy it from? i know gng. but are they reliable? are there any other reliable shop where i can get it at cheaper price than gng?
    2. how will i make sure that the device is completely ok and sealed at the time of buying?
    3. there are two versions of s3. i9300 and i9305. the i9305 has 2gb ram. but my budget is fixed for the i9300 which is 45k. is it okay to go with the 1 gb version?

    thanks

Original Samsung will be more reliable but they will charge a lot more. GNG is the most reliable for non-warranty products.
No-warranty less sets-will-be sealed. If it-is its later sealed here . About checking GNG-usually-allows-24 hrS to check-it.
i9305 is-49K. Get Note 2 instead. Its52K. Way better. I am Using it.
And yes the 2gb-version makes a difference butnot-that much.

I was saying that you should get the NII instead of the i9305 If you are getting the i9300 then this point is moot.

if u r getting from GnG then dont be afraid. its perfectly ok n brand new sealed. n they will give u 24hrs warranty too. n u can check the box before opening. n im sure u will find its factory sealed. n probably ur s3 will be made by Vietnam. And yes Samsung manufactures most of their phones from Vietnam. Vietnam is now more reliable than Korea for Samsung Mobiles as they most produce from Vietnam and less in Korea nowadays. oh n wait. if u can add 7k it would be best. GN2 is the best one right now. 1.6ghz 2gb ram a bigger pentile screen. feels smooth. add up 7k bro. its really worth even if u wait 1month....

yes I use it. n yeah I bought it from GnG the very first day. n well factory sealed products are always new. once in hand u will get to know that is ur mobile is totally brand new and nothing is wrong. 24hrs is alot of time to identify its its completely ok or not. n GnG is a very reputable shop. they wont provide u something thats faulty.

i9305 is-49K. Get Note 2 instead. Its52K. Way better. I am Using it.
And yes the 2gb-version makes a difference butnot-that much.
Thanks for this @avas911 . I was thinking of a phone upfrade but was not sure what to get - the s3 or the NII. The NII did feel like it is a bit more clunky - how do u carry it? Does it have the same features as the s3 and/or more?

Not true. i got my first SII from them. And it was not sealed. Also couple of months back I got a SIII for a friend from them. It was sealed yes, but i checked the box. It had been opened and sealed. As there was another sticker below the one they cut open in front of me. And the sticker on the top was a little bigger than the original one. So it was not possible to see it before hand.

its better than SIII. I wear jeans and typical gabardine pants. And it is fine. in case of one pair of pants it becomes a tight fit. . I mean if you dont go out and play soccer with it in your pocket, it is kinda fine.

Yes, they do it and PRETEND it is a completely new/sealed item. Happened with my friend's phone and then a few months later, his bluetooth headset. Even when I went to buy my uncle a Blueant, I found it was used and then repackaged. Like avas911 mentioned, the tape sizes were diff and the accessories were crumpled inside. Untouched accessories would have a certain neat pattern of folding. This was a month and a half back. With them, I guess, it depends on the item and the buyer's luck of the draw. Fast moving items u MAY expect to be new; but slow stuff are used (I daresay).

One pair is a little tight fit for the phone. The other one fits comfortably.

No did not get the flip cover. This does not increase the depth at all.
Got a bumper case. This increased the depth around 50%. Dont mind as NII is really thin.

well I ve never experienced anything like that. double sticker or so. I got my GN2 opened infront of me. n it was factory sealed. few of my frnds bought from them n yep those were single factory sealed. so nope I ve never got any doubt on them. n moreover used or refurbished phones can be detected after using or inspecting carefully. maybe the cover was opened for any purpose and later sealed. this can be anything actually. n well again u ve 24hrs to identify. I bought mine from them. so yeah im not stupid enough to buy 2nd hand mobile. its uoto u. they r a reputable shop. if u intend to buy then dnt buy outside of GnG. coz others may give u 2nd. either go for GnG or buy from Samsung showroom (which is way overpriced) 17-20k for warranty is nothing but §§§§.

btw u can check the box before purchasing. so dnt be adraid. go buy one. n ofc the GN2.

the flip cover is actually attached with the back case (no external cover). n the front cover is 1/3 of the thickness of the note 2. so it wouldn't be a problem. n well I ve difficulty carrying it on small pockets. but mostly I wear baggies n loose pants which usually ve big pocket n that makes it easier just like other phones.

@avas911 - one final question, why u chose to get it frm SAMSUNG and not these warranty-less shops? SAMSUNG warranty is just for service with a 7 days after purchase return policy for manufacturing defects. Warranty in BD usually means squat - a lot of pain for users.
